Château Noël St-Laurent

Located 10 km south-east of Avignon, the Château Noël St-Laurent has its origins back to the late 13th century. Once a farm with fortified walls, it provided shelter for pilgrims en route to Santiago de Compostela. During the middle age, the Popes in Avignon entrusted the management of the region to Carthusian monks who developed the vineyards on the surrounding hills. The wines produced were destined to the Papal Court of Avignon very who were very fond of this elixir.

Since the late 1940’s the Noël family maintains with respect and

savoir-faire their century old wine making tradition in order to pass it on to future generations. Didier Noël manages the estate while Brigitte is the winemaker. She is also the President of the Companions of the Côtes-du-Rhône. Brigitte and Didier are sharing their passion for creating wines from sustainable agriculture.

The Château Noël St-Laurent wines are their common achievement, built on balance with a sense of harmony and personal expression.
